The Delta Prep Team
Board Member & Co-Founder
Arif enjoys devoting his time to Delta Prep’s students and staff. He graduated from the Macaulay Honors program at Hunter College where he studied Chemistry. He graduated from Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is currently an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at NYU Langone
Although he’s on track to fulfill his dream of becoming a physician, education always holds a special place in his heart.
Board Member & Co-Founder
Jeffrey is a passionate teacher, a mentor to all students, and comes with almost a decade of teaching experience. He graduated from Stony Brook University with a degree In Biochemistry and minors in Chemistry and Philosophy.
He graduated from Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook. Currently, he is a General Surgery Resident Physician at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center
Board President
Mohammed is dedicated to improving the education and lifestyles of others. He studied Civil Engineering at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC before earning a graduate degree in Structural Engineering at Columbia University.
Currently, he works as a Structural Engineer at Arup.
Min Yu has always enjoyed learning, teaching, and giving to others. She graduated from Hamilton College where she studied Chemistry and Gender Studies. She is currently a resident at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
She has more than five years of tutoring, and is a valuable member of the team
Kevin graduated from Stony Brook University where he studied Finance and minored in Accounting. Currently, he is a Senior Financial Analyst at Apptegy, an education focused SaaS company.
He has been with Delta Prep since 2021 and started as a tutor. He has also volunteered with various non-profits in NYC that ranged from community development to teaching high school students.
Mickey Huang, MS (he/him)

Board Secretary
Mickey is an avid educator, mentor, and traveler. He studied Chemical Engineering at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC where he obtained both his Bachelors and Masters degrees.
Currently, he's a Patent Examiner for the US Patent and Trademark Office as well as a Freelance Data Analyst for the NYC Board of Education.
Chief Operating Officer
Tanvir is passionate about mentorship and education. Currently, he is attending Hunter College and majors in Biological Sciences.
He plans on pursuing medical school and becoming a physician.
Veronica is an advocate for learning and has a deep desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
She graduated from Stony Brook University where she studied Psychology and is currently working in Human Resources at Omnicom Media Group.
SHSAT Program Director
Mohammed is devoted to quality education and has years of experience teaching math and science. He currently studies chemical engineering at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC.
He is a TA for the summer STEM program at The Cooper Union where he works with high school students and tries to inspire them for a future in engineering.
Fariha Ahmed (she/her)
CS Program Director
Fariha loves teaching and seeing others grow. She has a passion for tutoring and has been a member of Delta Prep since 2021.
Currently, she attends Brooklyn Technical High School and is on the board of the Society of Women Engineers club. She plans to pursue computer science, specifically how the field can be used to create a positive social impact in the future.
Product & Curriculum Development
James loves learning and passing on his knowledge to others. He went to Stuyvesant High School and studied Civil Engineering at The Cooper Union in NYC.
Currently, he's a PhD student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at UC Berkeley, minoring in EECS and Statistics.
Volunteer Tutor
Deena has a deep love for teaching students and comes with years of teaching experience. She graduated from The New Jersey Institute of Technology, where she studied Industrial Engineering, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.
She is currently a Process Engineer in the food manufacturing industry.
